This an unspoken question that sits inside the minds of most business owners & entrepreneurs. Why is my business failing?
Why am I not seeing the success I want?
Why are profits not where they should be? Why my operations inefficiencies. The feeling of insecurity builds up. It becomes harder to breath. I can tell you it’s not the Lack of
- Funding
- Employees skills
- Is the Business Models broken
- Or Fail Campaigns
In the most straight-forward way possible, I want to tell you, as a business-owner or entrepreneur its you. Think about that feeling of insecurity or hesitation.
At the head of every business is a human making decisions. Our judgment and logic can be clouded not by emotion. Instead, they are clouded by insecurity and fears.
Why are feeling that way? And How does that affect your decision making? When fear or hesitation start determining your business choices, it can lead to costly decisions. Those decisions may not fully deliver on their promise. To give you a real solution, you have to fully believe it. For it to work, be honest with yourself. The answer is don’t give up on yourself.
What should I do then?
I want to remind you to do 3 things in general.
- Bet on yourself
You will have to spend something valuable to you & that is why your hesitating. If it’s $1000 or your time, whatever amount you have, it is valuable to you. The truth is that now or at a future time, you will have to risk it to grow & succeed.
It’s not about others in this instance, when I started this blog, I was betting on myself. Sometimes we forget the amazing things we have done. We underestimate what we can do. It can be easier to bet on others to do it or to blame others for our choices. I made this choice, so I have to stick by it. - Self Reflect
Take a step back take a piece of paper out or a whiteboard. Write out all the problems of your business in circles, just stuff that is really bothering you. For example
I need to increase revenue to cover my cost.
Write more circles containing resources, people, or skills you have adjacent to that problem. Then draw lines to piece together a solution to your problem. The pieces could be right in front of you. - Consistency
You gotta get up everyday, and try. It’s that consistency that will save you. When things get tough, we tend to distract ourselves to ease the pain of difficulty or failures. Then we forget that about consistency.
“it gets easier, Every day its gets a little easier but you gotta do it everyday that’s the hard part. But it does get easier.”

The hardest lesson I learned in starting a business when I was young is that you have to rely on yourself. You have to depend on your own abilities. You must rely on your own strength and capabilities.
Self-doubt will always return, the self-reflection is easy & the consistency is easier when you want it. Things are harder when you need to do things for yourself, instead of wanting things for yourself. Your self-doubt are the things you need to do, screaming from your subconscious.
